Praise the Lord

In the Westminster Shorter Catechism that was completed in 1647 the question is asked: "What is the chief end of man?" The answer: "Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever."

The psalmist put it this way . . .
Psalm 147:1 (NASB) -- " Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and praise is becoming. "

God created us to worship, love and adore Him! The psalmist says that it is good for us to sing praises to God. When we sing praises to God it is the best possible use of our voices because it glorifies God; it brings joy in our hearts; and it encourages others. When I listen to the Brooklyn Tabernacle it leads me to worship the God who loved me enough to send His Son to die on the cross for someone like me! I hope that you will watch the video and praise our risen Lord!
